About us

"Demokraterne - hele Danmark skal leve" is a new Danish party that positions itself between the political wings. We advocate for more democracy, decentralization, and making it easier to hold referendums.

We cannot accept that any part of Denmark is a peripheral area, and we aim to make it more advantageous to live outside the major cities. We support green transition with popular involvement, and we defend Denmark's biological diversity and animal welfare.

Additionally, Demokraterne works towards closer Nordic cooperation for the benefit of the Nordic countries and the rest of the world. Our goal is a Nordic confederation built from the grassroots up. A strong Nordic voice in the world can make a crucial difference for peace, human rights, and a more sustainable development. We actively work to strengthen the Nordic welfare society, and it is our goal to introduce free dental care in Denmark and reinstate Great Prayer Day.

Demokraterne warmly supports international cooperation, but we will never accept Denmark becoming a state in the United States of Europe. Therefore, we defend the Danish opt-outs in the EU, and we support a more democratic European cooperation than the EU. We should be able to travel, live, work, study, and trade across borders in Europe, but the ongoing centralization of power in the EU is detrimental to Danish democracy. Therefore, we would like to see Denmark rejoining EFTA and freeing ourselves from the EU.

Demokraterne support a strong Danish defense and Danish NATO membership, but we cannot accept illegal wars of aggression, and it is our goal for Denmark to make a much greater effort in peace mediation and in saving lives in connection with the UN's international missions. We would like to see Denmark have another Jutlandia ship.

Anyone who supports our foundation and pays the annual fee can become a member of "Demokraterne - hele Danmark skal leve".

Our goal is to run for the Danish Parliament in the next parliamentary election. Therefore, we are collecting voter declarations and need over 20,000 voter declarations to be eligible for candidacy.
